WHO WE ARE

Grow People Partners is a 75% black female and 25% black youth owned organization which provides a wide variety of HR consulting services to corporate, government and state owned entities. The organisation consists of a small core team and a network of associates and contract resources, which allows it to scale up when required.

One of the business owners is a highly experienced HR practitioner who has operated at senior management level in HR structures in the corporate world. As a result, there is a good understanding of critical business drivers and how to align them with good people practices.

The organisation is extremely professional and is passionate about delivering value to its customers. We are able to provide services across the country with particular focus on the following areas:

Gauteng / Johannesburg and Pretoria, Western Cape / Cape Town, Kwazulu Natal / Durban, Free State / Bloemfontein, Eastern Cape / Port Elizabeth and East London.

SYLVIA MOHALE

Chief Executive Officer

  • SYLVIA MOHALE

    Sylvia is the Chief Executive Officer of Grow People Partners and also serves as an Executive Director. She has spent approximately twenty years in the HR field in specialist, generalist and senior management roles working for organisations such as Wesbank, Multichoice, Discovery, Nedbank, Media 24 and PPS. In a previous consulting role projects included:

    – Remuneration Benchmarking and organisational positioning assessment for Board consideration – Advantage Asset Managers (in conjunction with Remchannel).

    – Job Evaluation, Scarce Skills Assessment and Remuneration Benchmarking for Board consideration – Alexkor.

RAY JOHNSON

Executive Consultant: Executive Search, RPO

Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (London), B.Com degree. (UNISA), Post Graduate Diploma in Management. (UCT – Graduate School of Management). After a successful career spanning some 14 years within the corporate sector with Legal & General, The Prudential and Anglo American Life/ Southern Life Ray left to set up his own organisation.

    After a successful career spanning some 14 years within the corporate sector with Legal & General, The Prudential and Anglo American Life/ Southern Life, Ray left to set up a management consultancy. The organisation was established in 1987 and has subsequently successfully operated over the ensuing 30 years consulting to a blue chip portfolio of insurance companies, financial institutions and major government departments. During this period he has been exposed to and gained an excellent insight into most aspects of the insurance industry inclusive of life assurance, employee benefits, non-life insurance and healthcare which has contributed to his understanding of strategic developments and operational challenges encountered by companies in the SA market.

    Neo has a PhD in Psychology from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK. She is a researcher at the South African Medical Research Council where she conducts substance use research. In addition to being a researcher, she also serves on the editorial boards of three substance use journals (the Journal of Substance Use; the African Journal of Drug and Alcohol Studies; and the International Journal of Alcohol and Drug Research).

She holds a law degree from the University of Zimbabwe. She has been an activist all her life and cares about the oppressed and downtrodden people of this world. Lungile serves on a number of Boards.
